Building your dream home should be an experience full of delight. As one of the most sought after home builders in Airdrie, we’ve carefully thought out every step of the McKee Homes building process so you’ll feel supported from start to finish. Your journey will begin with the sales stage, which includes obtaining a mortgage pre-approval, choosing and creating your wish list for your new home, and picking the perfect lot to build your home.
From here we complete a quote and professionally designed drawing of your home, and write your contract. Once your contract conditions are fulfilled, you’re ready to move on to home planning. This is where your vision will start to come together! Through several meetings with your experienced home planner, McKee Homes will send blueprints to our suppliers while you book appointments to select your appliances, countertops, cabinets, flooring, and each intimate detail of your home’s finishings. At your second meeting, your home planner will review any samples you have collected, and you will book electrical and lighting appointments. Once your permit has been approved, we will have a final sign off meeting to get construction underway. And now the fun part—watching your home move from concept to reality!
Design Centre

The McKee Homes Design Centre helps you personalize your dream home with two in-depth sessions. In the first meeting, you'll collaborate with a designer to choose exterior features like siding, stone, and windows. The second session focuses on interior selections like fireplaces and lighting. The Design Centre is all about giving you a realistic idea of how everything will look and feel in your new home.
